Where we are.

Our house is located in Deutz, in the city centre of Cologne near the river Rhine. The trade fair ground “Koelnmesse“, the “LANXESS arena” and the old town of Cologne with its sights, shops and night-life are very near and can all be reached by walking or a short tram ride. You may reach the old town of Cologne by walking over a bridge with a beautiful view onto the city with its cathedral.

Arrival by train:

You may reach our house very easily by public transport. The train station “Köln Messe/Deutz” is only 800 meters away. The distance to Cologne Central Station is less than 2000 meters. The tram stations “Suevenstraße” (lines 3 and 4) and “Severinsbrücke” (line 7) are in our neighbourhood. Arriving at the airport ✈CGN you may reach the train station “Köln Messe/Deutz” with a short train ride (lines S13, S19, RE6a, RE8).

Arrival by car:

If you arrive by car, please consider that the “Cologne City Low Emission Zone” must not be entered by cars without a green fine-particles-sticker. Get more information about that from the city-administation or from the following web-site: www.umwelt-plakette.de. Our house is inside the “Low Emisson Zone”. You find a public car park under the bridge “Severinsbrücke”, 200 meters from our pension. Prices for parking there are currently EUR 5 per 24 hours. Free parking at night time and on Sundays and bank holidays. (State of May 2020, no responsibility is taken for the correctness of this information.)
